May     Mom, I think I want to go on a diet.
Mother  Why, May? You don’t need to go on a diet.
May     Some people in school have been teasing me.
Mother  What have they been saying?
May     That I am fat, that I look like a ball, and a lot of other unpleasant things!
Mother  Do you really believe that you are fat?
May     Well... they say I am.
Mother  You are a very healthy girl, May. You exercise and you eat all the right food.
May     They say I’m fat though!

Mother  : May 왜 그래? 넌 다이어트 할 필요가 없는데.
May     : 학교에 있는 몇몇 사람들이 나를 놀려요.
Mother  : 그들이 뭐라고 말했는데?
May     : 내가 뚱뚱해서 공이나, 기타 가른 불쾌한 것들이 연상 된다고 말해요.
Mother  : 정말 네가 뚱보라고 여겨?
May     : 그들이 그래요.
Mother  : May, 너는 매우 건강한 애야. 너는 운동도 하고 올바른 음식만 먹잖아.
May     : 그렇지만, 그들은 나를 뚱보라 해요.
