Toby     I know, but they’ve learned how to compromise and how to set boundaries.  

            for  instance,  they have made a new rule.
           알아 하지만 타협하고 경계선을 설정하는 법을 배웠어.

           예를 들어 부모님이 새로운 규칙을  만드셨어.

Alicia    What kind of rule?
            어떤 규칙?

Toby    Well, mealtimes are for sharing positive news and not for arguments. 

           They have         agreed that  it is unhealthy to eat and digest food when you are upset.Also,

            matters that they don’t see  eye to eye on are not good topics for  the dinner

            table.
           음, 식사시간은 다투기 위한 것이 아니라 긍정적인 소식을 공유하기 위한 것이야.

           기분이  나쁠 때 음식을 먹고 소화시키는 것은 건강에 좋지 않다고 동의하셨어. 

           그리고 저녁 식탁에서  부모님의 의견이 다른 주제는 좋지 않아.

Alicia   That’s a good rule.
           좋은 규칙이다.

Toby    I agree. Something else they have agreed to do is respect each other’s opinions.

          After all, people don’t always have to agree! Sometimes it is better to agree to disa

          gree. Now they are  getting along and that makes me happy. They are the two

          most important people in my life  and when they’re happy, I’m happy!
          나도 동의해. 부모님이 동의한 또 다른 것은 상대방의 의견을 존중하기야. 결국엔

          사람들이 항상 의견  일치를 보아야 하는 것은 아니야! 어떨 때는 동의하지 않는

          것에 동의하는 것이  더 나아. 이제 부모님은 잘 지내고 그게 날 기쁘게 해. 그들은

          내 인생에 가장 중요한 두 사람이고 그들이 행복할 때, 나도  행복해!
