Jude    Now that I am older, I have to juggle many responsibilities.

           I also have a lot more expenses. I have to budget my money

           very carefully.

Erica    Yes, life is more expensive when you don’t have your parents

           to pay for everything. I guess that’s why my parents didn’t

           spoil me too much. They wanted me to know the value of

           money and the pride that comes with honest work.

             맞아, 모든 걸 대신 갚아주던 부모님이 없으면, 생화비용은 더 많이 들 거야. 아마

             그래서 우리 부모님이 나를 별로 응석받이로 키우지 않은 것 같아. 부모님은 내가

             돈의 가치와 정직한 일에 대한 자부심을 알기를 원했던 거야.

Jude    My parents spoiled me because I was an only child. I found it

          hard to leave the nestbecause I was so dependent on them.

          I was so accustomed to a certain standard ofliving. I would

          spend frivolously on useless material possessions. In the

          end, I found myself penniless and broke!

            우리 부모님들은 내가 외동이라 응석받이로 키웠어. 내가 그들에게 너무 의존해서

            둥지를 떠나기 힘들었어. 나는 어떤 수준의 삶에 너무 익숙해졌어. 나는 쓸모 없는

            물질적 소유에 경박하게 돈을 사용했어. 결국 나는 돈 한 푼도 없고 부도가 났어.
