Jonathan     I feel like a walking train wreck today.
                 나는 오늘 걸어 다니는 문제투성이 같은 느낌이야.

Crystal        Why?
                 왜?

Jonathan     I have a meet and greet on the university campus this afternoon.
                오늘 대학교 캠퍼스에서 환영행사가 있어.

Crystal       That’s nothing to be nervous about; in fact it should be fun.
                긴장할 거 없어, 오히려 재미있겠네.

Jonathan    I think there’s more to it than meets the eye. I don’t know any of the

                freshmen, and I’ll probably get lost. Plus, I will be under scrutiny by my

                peers and the professors. 
                내가 볼 땐 상견례 이상이 있을 거야. 나는 새내기를 하나도 모르고  아마

                우왕좌왕할 거야. 게다가 내 동기들과 교수님의 감시하에 있게 될  거야.

Crystal       I think you’re pushing the panic button prematurely. Meet and greets

                are informal events intended to make people feel comfortable in new

                surroundings. Nobody will be scrutinizing  you, except maybe some

               your peers, and even they will probably be feeling a little nervous at first.
                내 생각엔 네가 너무 빨리 겁에 질리는 것 같아. 환영행사는 새로운  환경에서

                사람들이 편해지도록 하는 비공식적인 행사야. 아무도 널 감시하지 않아,

                어쩌면 너의 동기들 빼고 그리고 그 동기들도 아마 처음에는 조금 긴장할 거야.
